Myself I drive a 1990 F-150 Supercab XL 4X4, with a 302 & a 5spd., It has about 8000km. on the new motor. Our other vechicle is a 2003 F-250 crewcab 4x4, with a 5.4L automatic transmission . True blue & gray XLT with trailer tow pack, camper pack, FX4 pack &lots of accesories.
Its describe in my sig, and pictures in my gallery. To many mods to list but in the next 6 months its getin a 350hp 351cleveland(shootin for 400hp though), new oak wood bed (makin them in school), along with 2 JL 10in subs and an alpine 700W (300rms) amp to power the subs, and custom sub boxes (also buildin them in school to) to house the subs behind the taurus bucket seats. It might be gettin painted but i dunno.
Oh and if your wondering, i will be putting about 2500 into it here pretty quick ($800 for audio and the rest in the motor and the wood is a b-day present), and it has been 250 long hours of work and i am only half done.
Signature pretty much describes my ride. Was planning on a straight axle conversion w/ Dana 60's (4.56,ARBs front & rear) and a 6" suspension lift (all spring). Unfortunatly a 4 month strike at the mill this summer killed that thought until next year. Eventually planning to swap in a 5.4l but that won't be for a while.
I drive a red 1997 XL F 150 long bed, regular cab, 4.2 v6 K&N replacement air filter, 40 series flowmaster muffler single in dual out 3 inch stainless steel magnafloww tips side exit infront of rear tires, 2 inch drop in the front new coil springs and shocks, 4 inch drop in the back shackles and hangers, lowering kit done by me at home in the driveway (a lot of swearing involved) Lowrider tonnoa cover, metalic red tinted back window, custom lepord print seat covers, radio trim color matched to paint, red led windsheild washer squirter. thats all thats been done for now soon I hope to get the arm rests done in red, and a new sub box, I allready have the amp and two 12 inch sud woffers waiting.
It's a great sounding, handling, looking, truck.
Well I have a 79 F150 4x4. I am running a 400 bored out 20 thousands and a heavy cam. Also about 11:1 compression. Borg and Warner T4 and NP203 T-case. Dana 44 in the front and Ford 9" in the back. I recently put 33's on it. Its big orange and a great 50 footer. If you see it around Edmonton its me. Beleave me there is nothing like it on the road. Beleave me or not it gets about 18.5 miles to the gallon (on the highway of course). What a pig to drive in the city though.
