My 03 F-350 Lariat CC is a completely new truck. Installed a DP Tuner today. WhaaaHooooooo! And thats on the 80econo tune. I can only imagine what 120 & 140 must be like. Pulling our 3280 BigSky 5th wheel is going to be a whole new experience. I particularly like the way it shifts, smooth as silk. Jody nailed it bang on. If I would have spoken with him and I didn't, it shifts exactly like I would have asked for. It used to hit pretty hard on the 3rd & 4th gear upshift. I have No-Start, Stock, Hi-Idle 1200, 40hp Tow, Decel, 60hp Tow & 80hp Econo. Looking forward to using the Decel tune. Had a couple of interesting 7% downgrade experiences last summer. Big thanks to riffraff & DP Tuner & all of you and your input, helped to make this decision fairly easy. Gotta go for another drive and I'am grinin ear to ear!
Tom

I've been thinking about the Decel tune but I tow so rarely, but if Jody is coming back out to Denver again for some live tuning, I'll get my tunes updated on Nyx & the Excursion and may add it in.... or maybe get some Stage 1s, get live-tuned, and be done! Ahhhh... choices....

I love my DP F5. I've tried other tuning but am glad to be back using DP tunes. I'm glad you're enjoying it, just beware how quickly you burn through your fuel!

Congrats on the tunes. You will enjoy pulling with them, but keep an eye on those gauges. You do have gauges?

I have only one spot left on my F-5 chip for a tune.

I believe they are the same tunes. The F6 allows you to download tunes from DP Tuner that you can try before you buy. With the F5 you have what you ordered. You have to send the chip back to DP to change your tunes. I have the F5 because my truck is 99% tow vehicle and I have no plans to change tunes

I didn't know you would have send it back. That does make a big difference. Thanks for the info.

Having the F6 would be nice, but I don't change things on my truck much so I went with the F5. I will say that if/when I get some Stage 1 Singleshot injectors, it would be VERY convenient to just get updated tunes emailed to me.
