Fuel Tank Replacement...98 F-150

Put a new 30.5 gallon tank in my truck yesterday. Usual nonsense dealing with something rusted and nasty. Thought I would post up a picture of the old one so you can see what all is on the tank that you must deal with. Anyone have any questions, I'll be glad to try and help...

Jeff..

Need to throw up a picture of the new tank also?

I'm guessing that the middle part of the tank is the pump, right side is the filler and vent tube. But what are the smaller tubes for on the front and rear of the tank? More vents?

LOL...I would but it's on the truck. It looks identical...only a LOT newer...ha..ha. Far left is a vent, as is far right. You push down and turn....like a bulb socket...and pull them out. Middle is fuel pump....like 6 bolts hold it in. New tank ( Spectre) comes with a new gasket and new bolts to put the pump back in. The small and big rubber hoses are fill and vent/return hose. Above the hoses is the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor. They come out like the vents do, but usually they break...as did mine. Dealer only...about $110 bucks....half that at RockAuto. Being the cheapo I am, I ground both pieces flat and stacked up some washers about "3/8ths" of an inch ...used JB and put it back together. Covered the hole in the tank with a thin piece of aluminum and some SS tape. When I got home today, the "glued together" sensor was hard. I crawled underneath, pulled the patch off and pushed the sensor back in. Hooked up the wires, cleared the CEL that it tossed, cause it was not hooked up. Drove it around a bit...no CEL...seems to have worked.
