92 explorer tach

92 explorer tach

When you turn on the key in my 92 explorer the tach goes to 3400rpm. it only registers if you rev above that. when you turn off the key it drops to zero, anyboby got any ideas?

Hi aivaram and welcome to FTE

I fixed one with a similar problem by replacing the tach. You might be able to find a good used on at an autowrecker.
