Hmmm. I'm liking your train of thought. I've been meaning to put some reverse lights on the trailer........... might need to take my time running the wiring under there!
zhilton-
are those the bulbs that go behind the dash? like for sure becuase if so im ordering them asap!
Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I'm not sure if those are the exact replacements...but they've a "tool" on their site that should get you the right part number. I've never had the dash apart on my F250, but I'm assuming there are the same style wedge bulbs in there like several other late model FoMoCo products use.
haha, i am in the process of blue leds under the toyhauler too. i bought 70 feet of rope light thats being finished this weekend. and yours looks as sweet as i was hoping for.(my wife was 100% onboard) as far as the truck. i have put them everywhere. cab, dually fenders, running boards, tail lights, 3rd brake light, i got the line of fire bar for under the tailgate. it has the white backup lights in it, they dont do much but look cool. also the mirror signals, fog lights from recon, the list is endless.mostly from ebay U.S. sellers. i got some from hong kong and they flashed on and off, bright/dim/off uncontrollably.they went in the trash.
You choose the color, just remember there is a film in your instrument cluster that makes it green, you need a new cover if you want to change the color.
Tim, did you ever order some LED for your ride? I've been putting some thought to replacing bulbs on the truck with LED as they burn out. I'm not too worried about the interior lights...but I'd like to replace the tail/brake lights. I've seen a couple of guys that have replaced their tail/brake lights with those Recon versions. That's allot of $$$ just to have LEDs out back. Anyone ever just replaced the bulb and not the whole light assembly? I don't like the little "LED dot" some folks seem to have, so I'm not sure replacing the bulb is going to give me the look I want.
I'm just curious how the taillights would look like if I put one of their 3157 in the OEM housing. I don't like the little "LED dot" some folks get; but I can't justify shelling out $300 for a set of tail/brake lights.
