I have a 69 short bed having the usual trouble finding a nice hood wondering if anyone has done the 73 conversion I know the inner fenders and hood mounts have to be changed or a lot of fab work just want to know if its worth the trouble my truck is by far gonna be stock so not worried about being stock look just want to know if its gonna look right on it

new to site and just started frame off so any advise useful
If you're a good fabricator, or atleast handy with a plasma and a welder, I'd say go for it. You can generally make things look right and fit if you can work with metal, if not, I would say wait for some input from the other guys. I'm still pretty new to the Ford Trucks. Know more about the older cars.
not worried about the metalwork just worried about the extra inch or so out the side looking for clean look gonna do lot of shaving and rear pan custom led taillights...

my area does not have a lot of car shows and internet has pretty much stock builds kinda want some reference to go by im more a visual guy if i see it i can come up with a design got some cool airbrush work planned for truck for advertisment looking to quit turning wrenches and start custom painting tired of motorcycles and computers.
