Transmission cooler?

Transmission cooler?
I have a 2007 F150 XLT 4.6L Supercrew. Pardon my ignorance, but is this the transmission cooler on my truck? Also, if it is, is it in addition to the usual transmission cooling lines that car makers run thru the radiator?

If you get down and crawl under your truck, you will see the oil lines coming from your transmission to that oil cooler. So, yes that is your transmission oil cooler. When you have a heavy duty oil cooler like that, they don't run the fluid through the radiator also.
