I use a 3/8" or so to drill them out, last one I used a 1/2" bit and that actiuly worked better than the smaller drills. Just have to watch out for the drill bit grabbing, that's what broke a 1/4" bit once, and I quit using that size.
You don't have to press hard on the drill execpt when you start the hole. That metal is soft so watch out on how deep you go. Ctubutis scans tell how deep to drill.
