87 EFI vapor lock?
i have 87 F-150 4X4 dual tank,300 I-6,4 speed granny,short box.on a friends recomendation,i started replacing things system by system,only the worn out or parts that were bad.the fuel system is what i'm working on now.my problem is i'm able to brive the truck for about an hour or so,then looses power and dies. and won't start back up for about an hour.my friend doesn't know about fuel systems so he asked someone else,you know where this is going,they said it sound like the system is vapor locking.i don't know fuel systems either so i don't know what that is. any and all help is great.my front tank doesn't work.i don't know what is wrong,i've been running off rear tank only.if that helps any. thanks

I just repaired that problem, and I have to thank subford for it. He took me through all the tests. Here is the thread,
