Vibration from driveshaft?
Just installed a new carrier bearing and pinion seal. Replaced everything and now I'm having a vibration starting around 20 mph and faster. I did jack it up and watch the underside while someone accelerated for me and it appears that the driveshaft has a slight shake to it. What would cause this and any suggestions on fixing it?

Did you reinstall the shaft in phase? i.e. yokes are in alignment.

What if by chance I didn't line them up right, what can I do to correct this problem?

I didn't pay attention to the front one, I know nothing. so now that I probably messed up the alignment, how do I go about fixing it?

Just take it apart, again, (insert vulgarities here) and align the yokes so they're parallel to each other.

I like how you make it sound so easy, I am new at this. Exactly how do you "align the yokes so they are parallel to each other?"

You just turn the drive shaft 90 degrees (or until yokes are parallel).

It makes a big difference with the u-joints in phase, at least you'll never repeat that mistake.

did you have to make the yokes facing the same towards each other or parallel from each other?
