I got a 77 f150 four wheel drive, my rubber bump stops are worn all the way to the bare metal in the front. is there a way of changing them out, i cant seem to figure how to remove them other then removing the coil mount but i hope it doesnt come to that. any help would be very appreciated!
thanks, but im more curious on how to change them out...cant figure if i have to remove the coil mount out to change it or if there's another way. getting tired of my front end hitting the frame.

If it's like my 73, look on the inboard sides of the frame for an access hole. IIRC, it'll take a 1/2 or 9/16 wrench.

^ this.
Just put mine on yesterday. They take a 9/16. A deep socket with a 3/8 drive ratchet will be *just* right to get in there and have room to turn the ratchet. The way the frame is made it'll be difficult to get a wrench in there. (Unless you're working with a bare frame, like I am. haha)
If your axle hits the bump stops on a regular basis............you may want to think about replacing the front springs too...........I just did mine about 2 weeks ago and they were only about $100 for the pair from the local parts house................
