I would wonder why the engine was swapped with such low miles on it?
141,000 miles on truck, 81,000 on diesel engine.
That means the 300/6 was swapped out at 60,000 miles.
Either that or the diesel was used when it was dropped in.
Still 141,000 is nothing for a 300-6.
Something in my mind isn't adding up with the odometer claim.

Maybe the 300 had catstrophic failure
Maybe he had a bt4 laying around and felt a need for a project.
maybe he bought the truck with the 300 6cyl already removed

All i know, putting that bt4 in the truck more than doubled it valve to most.
As fot the no A/C, it can be put in in a weekeknd, not a big deal

I would have to agree with Diesel_Brad. I would just add "because he/she wanted to see if it could be done". I agree with doubling the value of the truck as well (to the right person that is).
It is a great looking truck though and should last forever with the BT4. You gotta admire the work of the fabrication. It appears that somebody took their time and did a very nice job.
