Gas Tank

I have a 1992 F150 with two tanks and want the front tank out. What fuel lines do I have to plug up, in order for this to work. -Thanks

I have the same question about an "89 F250, except that i need to remove a badly rusted rear tank. I'll be watching to see what info you get.

Just replace your DFR with a STR. Its plug and play.

You need to plug both the supply and return lines that you take off the front tank.

These only apply to 1989 an older MFI trucks like yours.

DFR : Dual Function Reservoir (Dual tank Selector Valve).
STR : Single Tank Reservoir (Single Function Reservoir).

DFR is mounted on the frame:
