Voltmeter not working after instrument cluster swap
In my newly acquired '95 with the 302. I wanted the cluster with the tach. Got one out of a '94 (supposedly). It hooked right up. All the other gauges work fine, and there is 14.xxx volts at the battery with the engine running, so I know it's charging. The voltmeter in the old cluster worked fine.
Any ideas on where and why this is happening?
Thanks

Good advice. I ended up swapping the old one back in and still had the same problem. After fiddling around with it a bit I realized the thin face piece that has the graphics/writing on it was loose, and the friction of it against the needle wasn't allowing the needle to move freely. A little super glue to put the face piece in its proper place and it's all good now.
Thanks.
Thanks.
