AC not working
Ok I bought this truck over the winter soni couldn't test it.
I bought freon the big tall can with the gauge, filled with new can. The compressor clutch only turns if I spin it with my fingers then it will work and then stops, then I spin it again and it grabs and works. When it works the pressure drops to 45 psi in the gauge when it's not it's at 80psi. I jumped the plug too and it still wouldn't kick on.

Your clutch gap is to big. Here is a article that will help you get it fixed.

Try tapping the clutch to make sure that the clutch is engaged. I loosened up the degas bottle for a little more room to work

The compressor shaft spins without the pulley spinning?
Or, does just the bolt spin, and the shaft doesn't?
Is the bolt loose? That would cause it to "spin", and if loose, would also allow the air gap to get way too wide.
Or, are you saying that with the key on and the A/C in MAX, the clutch is not engaging, even if manually pushing the plate in at the time?
What am I missing here?
