Swamps Diesel performance. When my FICM went **** up they rebuilt it for me. I overnighted it to them on a Monday. They shipped it back out Tuesday evening and I had it Wednesday and it's been rock solid. They were great to work with. Call up there and talk to Jonathan or Dave they were real good to work with.

Is it up and running again?. 9 times out of 10 you can repair vs replace the ficm a lot cheaper than buying a new one.when ever you have missfires, smoke,or any other running issues always check that first.its easy to do and rules out a big concern.

for the price of the tow you could almost pay for the SGII
at the push of a button you would have known what was up

gauges are a must for a 6.0

dont get a standered code reader unless you mean the auto enginuty

get a SGII great unit for a 6.0 and it will hook up to any vehicle 1996 and newer

most of us monitor EOT and ECT temps to avoid oil and egr cooler failure as well as the FICM

and welcome to FTE

get yourself some gauges that read live data like scan gauge II so you are able to diagnose your truck. Being hard cold start is likely a FICM problem, but without gauges you will just be throwing parts at it. In the tech folder at the top of the forums there is a FICM trouble shooting guide
