i have a 1979 ford f150 4x4 SWB with 3.50 gears in the front with a 5 lug dana 44.
so i'm doing a gear swap and bought the yokon premimum 4.88 gears and bearing kit for the front dana 44.
my biggiest concern is the differential case(carrier)
i dont want to spend the money buying a new case for the 4.88 and my questions is will my carrier or case with 4.09090 (4.10) from a 3/4 dana 44 work with my 4.88?
i'm not sure where the case splits for the gears 3.93 or 4.10-4.11?
