CLIMATE CONTROL ISSUE

I have an 04 Lariat with the Auto Climate. The problem is that I have no adjustment to the temp. To get AC i have to out it on 60, and then it blows ice cold. If I put it on 65 it will blow burning hot? Any idea on what could be causing this?

Thats what dealer did for 2 of my trucks. I think they get to it by pulling the glove box and maybe the radio. Mine were replaced under warrenty but it took several complaints to convince them to replace...kept telling me that it was normal operation.

Blend door actuator. $38.00 part. One hour of labor at the dealer per the book. I had mine replaced in January of this year. This will fix the issue. As someone else said, very common problem.
