Tach Wire on 99

Tach Wire on 99
I have a 99 E-350, in order to install the remote start, I need to locate and tap the tach wire, something to tell it that the van's running, and I don't want to drill into the firewall to run a line, has to be something inside.

There was another thread some time ago about this signal being sent over a wire labled CTO for clean tach output. It should be located somewhere above the master cylinder just under the outer cowl panel between the hood and the windshield. It tends to be white or light in color and has a factory tag saying CTO.
Look in the bundle of wires that runs from one side to the other---I found mine almost instantly.
