High EGT
Well took the old truck in today to see if I can find out why I high egt, Got a K&N cold air, so I'm getting enough air in, Got a 4" tubo back exhaust. The only thing came up was a bad map sensor, got one ordered we will see if this help's. Pulling a 2000 boat egt runs around 1100 to 1200, pulling a 35' fifth wheel around 15,000 any where from 1300 to 1600. Can't find anything else wrong, unless someone has the same problem and found a cure.

What are you using to monitor your EGT's? Is there any possibility something could be going bad. What are you showing at idel? How long have you had the set and did it show resonably correct reading initailly?
