My hypermax has 31/2" but i think 3" would be just fine. But wastegates wouldn't require as large exhaust as a non wastegate motor, because with the non-wastegate needs the higher exhaust flow because of the larger turbine.

well would 3" work until i can build a new exhaust system?

Well I hope this works out lol i wonder if im missing anything. If I am im gonna be pissed off. I spent 500 dollars on the pipes, some other random stuff for it.

I found 4" was cheaper than 3" or 3.5" exhaust in my area... go figure!

Hey Guys, So the turbo went onto the 84 today. I sold the 2001 for 4800 bucks(paid 2500 for it lol). Here is the new specs on it:

1050 EGT at the turbine outlet where it was tapped.
10 lbs of boost @ 70 mph
MASSIVE power increase
MPG ^ by 3 mpg if my dad drove careful
I didnt need a transmission temperature gauge caues its a T-18. Or do is it possible to tap for it? Would I need to being a 4 spd?

Don't forget to put those BFG All Terrain T/A's with the white letters out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never seen some All Terrains without white letters!
