Smile Just ordered my TW chip.

Well i finally had the money and ordered a chip from TW, went with ecno, dialy, heavy tow, street, and extreme tunes. Figured i didnt need the high idle since i have and AIC box, and add the extreme just for the fun of it9dont really need it or plan on using it too much). I'll let you know what is does for my truck when i get in and installed. I am wondering for those of you who have a TW or any chip, what kind of fuel mileage you all go after putting it in. That was kinda the final reason for getting it, diesel is starting to kill my wallet.

For the first week or two your mileage is gonna go down cause you probably won't beable to keep your foot out of the go fast pedal

What Mike said. Fuel mileage will go down quick because you won't believe how much different your truck acts or how quick it can move with that chip. After a bit your fuel mileage will come back up when you're done playing and you'll just be left wondering how you ever got along without your TW chip.

Main reason why I'm not adding power to my rig at this time. I can't afford to bust anything..

lol well thats not really saying much. if the new parts arent rated to handle the new hp then you might be spending that again real soon.

you will be real happy with the chip. i only have a 4 pos and leave it in "street" all the time. i have flirted with 20mpg running interstate with no load but when in the city and light to light driving my mileage can sharply decrease. i never get tired of hearing the turbo and exhaust with the windows down
