oh ya, the light behind the fuel guage seems to have gone out and my door light is always on. I'm thinking the wires for the door panel are crossed or something and the bulb went out behind my gas gauge?
When I had to replace the corner lamp on my '98, I remember there were 2 or 3 screws that held the assembly in. The screws were located at the bottom of the assembly just above the bumper, kinda tucked in a little bit. The top of the assembly is held in by a large tab that plugs into a hole that has a fastener in it (no screws on top). You can see the plug and fastener on the top of the assembly if you pop the hood. After you take out the bottom screws, tug gently straight out and the assembly should pop out. Be careful so you don't break the fastener when pulling the tab through.
The headlights themselves I think you can get at when you pop the hood.
