using edge a2 with sct

I have an 04 psd with the sct elite diesel tunes. I recently purchased a juice attitude platinum with the a2 monitor. The question I have is can I run the sct tune and only use the juice for the gauges. I tried putting the juice to stock and loading a sct tune but it would not let me. will it be safe to unhook the juice, load the sct tune, then hook the juice back up for the gauges only. I only paid 100 bucks for the whole package. Couldn't pass the deal up so im not out anything if it doesnt work. I much prefer the sct tunes. Thanks in advance for the help.

Only thing I can tell you is do not stack, load the SCT then try it. The timing advance from both programs will kill the engine eventually. They do run like a scalded cat but not for long....

sct/edge

so the boys at innovative diesel just told me yesterday that you could run the 2 togeter. i have the edge/a2 right now. and just purchased the sctx3 from them. they said it should work no prob, as long as the edge was in stock setting.i too want to use the edge for the gauges.
