Hi Tushy,

I haven't been around here for long, but still, welcome!

The rest of the guys won't be long before they start saying hello and asking for pictures. This is a great stop for knowledge and truck talk. Everyone is always willing to share and learn from others.

Take a look around the forum, there's lots of interesting things in it.

hi all,

Thanks for a warm welcome.
I uploaded a few photos, but sadly haven't got a better one at the moment.
I bought her in last October from some British guy,who I found out later lied a lot.took it to parts.MK II front susp was already on,but need it to re weld.made engine mounts now,mk II power steering ,302 engine with auto box,I think it's an AOD,but I'm not very expert I'm just started .So probably need a lot of help.but my heart is a v8.sadly haven't got any window with the truck, gonna cost a lot.the bed ,I found out too late, off from a late 70's truck,so it's wont fit.have to make it fit,or buy or make another bed.I've got a problem with gearbox at the moment,I found some numbers on it,can send photo for identify,so the kick down rod is touching the bulkhead,so the question is if anybody can confirm this box for me,and possible to use a cable instead of the rod, because I don't want to modify the bulkhead.I red about this AOD gearbox,so what do you guys you recommend, keep it ,change a few bits in it or live it as it is.I'm not gonna race, just want to use it.after gearbox cross member needs doin and prop shaft, shortened.steering column is chevy, would be good something nicer, but money wise. chassis going to sand blast same as every panel.donno colour yet, some metallic, would be good pearl but again ,money.I'm renting a space in my friend's garage, every penny(cents)is worth.
that's the plan at the moment.looking for parts from USA too, just need to find a cheap shipping ,who I can trust too.if anybody's got a good idea ,thought, please let me know.

by the way,I lived in Jacksonville for a year, loved it.same with Iowa.
hope my english is fine for you guys.
Thanks everybody,Tushy
