desktop dyno2000 accuracy?

Does anyone have this software program and like it, also how accurate is it? I am thinking of getting one to play with and find the best set ups in engine building. Where did you get yours? I am thinking about jegs or summit racing.

hey rufus, Ive got the dyno software and like it alot. I have no personaly experience whether it is accurate though, never dynoed an engine on there and then dynoed it for "real". But from looking at the specs, it seems to be overgenerous in both the HP and toque specs, especially torque. Not by alot though. It seems to make major gains by adding open exhaust and headers (ie 50HP differance). And im not sure about how accurate it is when testing roller valvetrain and roller cams. Figures seem to jump around a bit.

Sweet !!! I was just wondering because I want to get one to play with and figure out some stuff on matching components, you know to find the best combinations before tearing into motors only to find that out that you did something you'll regret.
