Radio question

Is there a way to keep the name of the songs on the display on the standard radio not the nav radio. When I change it to tell me the name of the song it stays like that until I shut off the truck, when I start it up it's back to the name of the station. Just wondering? Thanks

The song name is based on the RDS signal from the radio station. Many stations transmit the station name or something similar. So if the station does not transmit the song name RDS your radio cannot display it.

I think he's asking if there is a way to make the radio default to showing the information (if available) after a power cycle.

Dogwood you are correct. Trying to default it so it stays on the name of the songs
