1979 F250 Blinker switch problems
Why dont my blinkers flash when I turn the switch on, Ive replaced both the flashers and the switch and still cant get them to work. Any body have any ideas on what I need to do?

There are two flashers behind the dash, one for the turn signals, another for the 4-way emergency flashers.
These are basically the same two prong flashers, but the 4-way has a louder click because it's a heavy duty flasher.
Where was the flasher located you replaced?

Get a wiring diagram specific for your truck or autozone online has it too for free. Use that and a multimeter to check it. I had problems with mine too and used this to find that the switch in the column was bad.
Do neither side front or back work?
Do the blinker indicators in the instrument cluster work?
As said before, check fuses, wiring. Also check ground points.
With mine, i replaced the switch only to have it go out on me a year later. some of them, maybe all of them, are made cheap so dont rule out the switch just because it's new

The way the sentence reads: "I've replaced both the flashers and the switch" could be taken as "I've replaced both the flasher and the switch."
I typed the info for clarification, since some peeps are unaware that there are two flashers.
