Master cylinder
Has anyone changed a master cylinder or brake cylinder?
Mine (2002 F-350) is leaking inside the cab and running into my carpet.
Am looking for a source for parts but couldnt find any on Ebay?
Im not sure which parts I needs as it looks to be 2 or 3 diffrent pieces?

Ken, I have the same problem as you. Leaking into cab but not a lot. My brake pedal seems slightly spongy too when I press on the brakes real hard. I'll be watching here to see what everyone says.

OEM, Give parts guy ED a holler, Im sure he will fix you up.
I will say Im not a big fan of going to the Stealership and getting raped but with Ed's pricing it's not as bad and If the original lasted 9 years it's almost a no brainer.

I did a search for "master cylinder" for a 2002 Ford F250 using www.partsguyed.com and found:
WITH cruise control - $139.62
WITHOUT cruise control - $104.71
I swapped one out in my '88 F350 and it was pretty much a mess, but otherwise just a VERY thorough brake flush basically.

Are you sure it isn't the hydroboost leaking off the pushrod? I replaced the master cylinder and it isn't difficult, but you have to bleed the brakes after and you also have to bench bleed the master if it isn't already. Messy but not too hard.
