1966 Bed side skin

I am wondering if anyone has a source for bed side skins? I need a RH skin for a styleside long box on a 1966. I thought I saw them on RockAuto but I cannot find them anymore. Do auto body catalogs have older sheet metal parts? I suppose I could try to repair the dent but I think it is a little beyond repair. My uncle hit it with a tractor a couple years go. I need to also replace the front fender, but obviously there are sources for those out there.

Thanks,
Mark

Check LMC, BOTP, or Macs. I know one of the 3 has skins. They only sell quarters though, not full sides.

Im in a similar situation. Except mine problem is pitting. The fender itself has some small pinholes, which I know are going to get larger when I sandblast. I think I just am going to clean is up, and weld in a patch panel from behind. Will have to use a little body filler, but I can live with that with solid steel behind it.

I have checked all of those places and nothing is available for 1964-1966 beds. Sheet metal is available for 1967-1972, but that does not help me.

Yeah, Mark, sorry about that. I much have been looking thru an older catalog. But I could swear Ive seen them recently somewhere.

How bad is the damage? Is it so bad it cant be pounded out? Or does it need new metal?

I don't know about anyone else but I have never found new skins to fit very well, I say if you have to cut it out and reshape some pieces that would be best or look for a whole new box and then it well just be easier.

Ford never sold 'skins' for these trucks.

The entire quarter panel (bedside), including the wheelhouse and the front/rear section of the bed floor that was in front/behind the wheelhouse was all that was available.

C5TZ-9927702-B (replaced C4TZ-9927702-B) .. Right Quarter Panel / Obsolete

C5TZ-9927703-B (replaced C4TZ-9927703-B) .. Left Quarter Paned / Obsolete

Fits Stylesides: 1964 F100/250 2WD 128" wheelbase / 1965/66 F100/250 2WD 129" wheelbase / 1966 F100 4WD 129" wheelbase.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has either one.
