Glad to hear your dog is okay. My french pointer(the one in my avatar) got stung above her eye last year. That poor girl looked like the elephant man. I have never seen swelling like that.

I thought Jack Russels had an immunity to snake bites. An old neighbor had one that would go in the woods and come back later with water moccasin bites. It never seemed to bother him.

for pain Tramadol and anti-biotics Clavamox. Awoke this morning to pooch kisses so I think all is well.

Thats Great Hank. Glad everything is going to be ok. I'm sure there is a load of stress off of you now. I remember when my girl got bit I didn't sleep for at least 2 days. Gettin up to make sure she was still breathing and all. Again, Congrats and our wishes for a speedy recovery!
