I sure hope your buddy comes through this.

Our ESS got bit by a copperhead (on the nose), when he was just a pup.
His nose swelled up like a golfball was under the skin, within seconds!


There's nothing like the unwavering love from a dog.

Our Pit Mix got bit on the side of her neck by a rattler about 9 months ago while she was outside playin in the yard. Noticed she was fatigued, but nothing bad until 2 days later when she would barely move. Took her to the vet and after they shaved her they found the fang puncture marks approx 1" apart. It was a big snake that was probally trying to get her to back-off and was not trying to kill her... long story short she got he anti-venom and with-in a week was back to normal and the swelling was gone. Prayers are out for your little guy. Good Luck!

Good to know there is hope Mike, & you didn't notice right away either...if you dont see it happen we cant tell until symtoms show up..........

Thanks for prayers. They seem to be working,yea. Smoke is home now and appears much better, minus the swelling which will go down. We Thank You All For Good Thoughts and Prayers
