exhaust manifold

I have a 1980 f-600 with leaky exhaust manifold. Any quick fix ideas other than replacing them?

Where is the leak? If it is at the ports to head, remove it and have a machine shop surface the manifold. Since it is a seasoned part now you won't have any more issues.

Take it off and weld it up.. If its cracked? If you've got some money to spend, the machine shop is a great idea. Cant say Ive ever done it, but it makes sense.. New gaskets will probably work if the gasket blew out.

If you know somebody with a belt sander you can dress your manifold flat again , of course this is the low budjet way .
