Well, you're only an hour ahead of us time zone-wise, but I know you keep odd hours as well. It says you posted that at 2:10 am, whichever way you slice it that's still early! (Or late...?

Hello from lovely Central Point Oregon. Up here performing at the Rogue River Fantasy Faire. This is the second day, been here since Friday night (well, Saturday morning, technically, since we pulled in about 1:00 AM.) We perform again all day today and then turn around for the long drive home. The things we do for fun...

Sounds like a good time! We used to f art around at the Ren Faire when it was at Blacks Point, sure miss it.
Aside from swilling beer and wenching, what do you do there?
Yeah, it's just not the same as it was now that it's down at Casa de Fruita.
I'm with a band called the Seadogs, we perform nautical music...sea shanties and so on. You may remember us from Black Point, though I wasn't with the band then, I was part of a different group there. And we can be seen every year at Christmas time at the Cow Palace for the Dickens Christmas Faire, not to mention the upcoming Northern California Pirate Festival in Vallejo on Father's Day weekend.

Yesterday I worked in a back yard easement in South Stockton. Next to the pole I was about to climb, there was a dead puppy half decomposed. The day got redeemed, because as soon as I got up to the 22ft attachment, I see a wonderful sight. Here comes a C5, taking off from the Stockton airport, which is about 2 miles away. It's actually one of my favorite things, because of the screaming of the engines. I got to enjoy the music a good 10 times before they left. Sure, it looks like a flying whale, but it sure sounds cool doing it.
I don't know how the weather was down in Modesto, but up here it's been crap for the last couple of days. I finally got some work, building a fence, and today is the first day that the rain has let up enough for me to get started.
