here's the "Low Down"

it was a hush hush but word got out, so in case you haven't been previously informed, Ian is coming home for R&R, and Amanda was planning a Camp/Shoot/Wheel kind of weekend.

As it turns out he now knows about it, so... it is supposed to take place in July, but He got reassigned, or something along that lines, "I don't know military schedules" so the weekend is changing possibly. She has posted that she doesn't know when yet, but they will us know as soon as they know.

Chadly said this mornin it's on for the weekend starting July 8th. That is the weekend after the 4th. That will miss the open Range weekend. So we need to check on something else for the shoot part of Camp, Shoot, and Wheel. Maybe check on some public use area north of Randolph.

Corps of Engineers and Wildlife and Parks don't allow "target shooting" at Tuttle other than at the range as far as I know. Many parts are open to hunting during appropriate seasons but not target shooting. Our other "legal" option would be to find a local land owner that would allow us to do some shooting. I don't really know of anyone up in that area.

They changed that down this way too when they put $$$ into the range up on the north end of Cheney Lake.

Maybe just a Camp and Wheel weekend then. July in KS is gonna feel cool to Ian.
