Don't know bout time. Delorme says Bob has about 694 miles and and 9 hours and 20 minutes drive time to get to his roomin house in Manhattan. Thet don't include stops ur maybe a detour I heard tell bout fer the flood. I have an e-mail sent to him.
Chad, are you camping down by the lake at Randolf where we usually gather? I'm still debating on whether to bring the 5th wheel out or just drive up and hang out.
Yup, tough choice for me. It's going to be cooler but with the rain this week the bugs are going to be bad. And bugs like me a lot. Last time I camped up there this time of year I brought home one with me. And driving to camp tomorrow night will bug up the front of my truck really bad. Motel 6 has a $35 room for me in Manhattan. And I'm sure coffee and a breakfast sandwich somewhere close. Camping fee is $8.50 plus $4.20 for a vehicle permit.
Sundance says he is leaving TN today and will stop over in St. Louis tonight. Says Sunshine is having some health problems so they will most likely not stay for saturday.
For saturday it looks like I'll either leave by 6:00 pm to head back to Wichita or spend the night at camp. Again I don't want to run at night with headlights and attrack bugs. All I plan to bring is an ice chest with drinks and a sandwich for noon and evening saturday. Clint says Chads trailer won't cost his SD any mpg like it would my truck so he'll stick with the plan to bring it saturday. I may have some folks from another board showing up. One is driving up from Wichita saturday morning with his 2 kids. The other lives in Manhattan. Not sure when he will be up but I posted a 9:00 AM time for meeting in the parking lot at the ORV area.
Not sure about sunday yet. Might camp saturday night for a campfire and see if folks show up to wheel sunday or not.
As i said i'll be there hopefully providing they don't make me work Sat if i don't work Sat i'll be there Friday night for the dinner in Madhappy and camp fri and sat
