something dont add up , the water can be coming from someplace else or the block is cracked ! you have to pull the thing apart and find it also check the intake ! if it was me i would pressurize the radiator even with low pressure from a air hose and have some one else look the thing over as it was being pressurized !
Its not a bolt hole to the bell housing. Its in the side, left to right not front to back like all of the bolt holes, and again, nothing came out in the tear down.
X 2 , its the right side head gasket or the intake gasket , more likey to be the intake gasket , its hard to screw up a head gasket , the intake is a little harder to keep in place when it goes on....
But its not a matter of "it looks like thats where its coming from. I can SEE it, if i put my finger over the hole i can FEEL it, that is where its coming from, not the head gasket, not the intake gasket. Im sorry, i dont mean to sound like an *** but i KNOW where the water is coming from. I just dont know why.
But in the spot that its in, a cracked block in next to impossible. Not to say youre wrong, but i see absolutly no way the block could be cracked and water coming out of that hole. It is in such a remote spot that i just dont see it. I dont know of any other way to explain it.
Ok then just do something to help trouble shoot , just fill the hole with silicone , let it dry then see if it still leaks , if it still leaks the water is tracking from some place above the hole.....Lew

Vandorin, are you still here in Mizzou? If I remember right you said that you live in Iowa, but the truck is here. If the truck is here in Fulton, I'm in Mexico, 25 mins away, and I have a really knowledgable mechanic friend that work for the company I do, lives in Fulton, and he also works on motors. We can look @ it if you are interested.
