Ambient Temp Sensor

Can someone please tell me how many ohms an outside temp sensor reads? I have a 2002 F150. Thanks.

I know this is old, but I'm second for this question.
In my 98 Navi, outside temp reading is about 20 celcius below actual temperature.
It is changing corectly up and down, but reading is too low...
I repleaced it with the one dedicated to explorer, but no joy... reading to high...
So I'm thinking to add some resistance to the sensor in order to have a good reading... The replacement part is probably cheap in US, but it is not availiable here in Poland... Thanks in advance

Why can I not find a 1998 Navigator in my diagrams? I can find a Expedition.

Look in cell 55-002 of the 98 Navigator EVTM.

Ford has used the same sensor (DY-718) for most (but not all) EATC-equipped vehicles from 1993-2007. As long as Stanislaw did not get a sensor for a 98-01 (DY-841) or 06-07 (DY-1054) Explorer, it should work. Which specific part number was used?

Ok so the parts numbers goes as follows:

my orginal sensor - F3VF-12A647-AA and the second number 8030A

my replacement - F87F-12A647-AA and the second number 8A13B

So the part numbers are different...

my replacement - F87F-12A647-AA = F87Z12A647AA = Motorcraft DY-841

You need the F3VF-12A647-AA = F3VY12A647A = DY-718

Here are all the applications that use the DY718:
