I have the ultra carry 2. Like you , love the feel. After buying one though, and having the problem I did, and then it sitting for 6 weeks at Kimber, I did a little research. What I learned it that the 3" barrel is the problem child of the .45. It would be best to do the 4.25" or larger.
Although, I have also learned that those who got them while working, swear by them..
Sadly though, my lunch range time was cancelled. So.. I wait to see if I swear by it, or at it.. Which is fine, 29.00 a box of ammo right now.. ouch..

I looked at that one too when I looked at the crimson. That is what I wanted. Nice carry gun! Too bad theres problems. I don't want a full size 1911 for a carry, all you'd need to do is pull a full size out though and everyone around would hit the deck!

Chris, the 4.25 barrel has the same size handle, so for conceal carry, i should be good to go..
Just left Walmart at lunch, they have FMJ steel case ammo 230grain, Tulammo, for 15.00 a box

Yes its been a slow one and cold !
I went to a Meet last Night for the Kid's CC and I stayed for 45 min. He was ok with me leaving early he just demanded a Apple Sauce Cake for it in exchange of me leaving early ....... so last night at 6 pm I make Apple sauce Cake lol.
I know we need the Rain but I will want to put up the Pool !!!! So I need a couple of nice Days without any Rain

Yep, all gone. Poor little things.
Nice morning here, full sun with no clouds. Going to get my oxy/acetyl and mig welder back from my son in laws. I need to heat the steering stabilizer bracket to bend it back into shape before I put the new one on.
