16 to 20% is what the windows in the back of our crew cabs normally test out at, my windows were tinted to a 20% ( unlike what I thought before ) with a decent match.
Your best bet would be to just go there and try to compare some of their samples to you windows and then pick out the best match. A good shop should have samples you can take to your truck to compare.
I would think a good shop would say " oh, you want to match the back, okay, well be done in about an hour.."
enough said.....But you could go ahead and call for a bunch of quotes, ask " hey, I have 2003 F-250 and I would like the front windows to match back, what tint would that be. No really, it is my truck not my husbands.. no, really.. look do you want the buisness or what.."
After you do this a couple of times, you will hopefully have your tint percentage, or decided that you really were not in the mood for tint anyway..
beats me ,,he just said its off a f 250 King Ranch....
I just need a Tanneau Cover ...thought I can get one a bit cheaper
and rofl on the Window tints.. you be amazed how many times I get told what a nice truck my Husband has ...I just point them to my hitch...got something on it like this :
Silly Boys trucks are for Girls...
then their face changes lol
Jasmine I went to a well known shop down here. He had samples posted on the front window of the shop. Out of the several samples none of them are the same as factory. I asked him if they do, and he said no. Take it for what its worth. I ended up going one shade lighter on the fronts than the factory rear. If not you'll have a darker front than rear and its far to noticable day or night when you do that. To off set the shade in the front I had them do a shade on the front windshield. The windshield is very faint, but it takes enough of the sun glare out. At night it helps to equal out the front windows.
