Afternoon Guys...we did have a great trip...I uploaded some more pics to that link, one of the "coolest" things we were able to do was last Sunday. We visited the "Middle of the World" 0'00'00' Latitude on the Equator in Quito. We were able to do some experiments while there...I was able to balance an egg on a nail head (it was difficult, but there was a brief moment that you could actually feel the egg settle)...but one of the most amazing things was the Coriolis affect. It was absolutely amazing to see the water drain straight down while centered on the equator, then change direction on each side! It was absolutely amazing! And it is next to impossible to walk the equator with your eyes closed...looks as though one has been drinking heavily...very funny to try as well as watch...Also on our Flight from Quito to Cuenca on Sunday we were able to see the ash cloud from a Volcano that is spewing ash...
