Water Leaks
I have a 1989 Ranger and water leaks in from the front of the cab roof. My carpet is moldy between the seat and dash and my side panels are moldy in the same area. I took it to a windshield guy and he said there is nothing wrong with that install. Please Advise.

I got a 1998 Mazda B-3000 4x4 that had the exact same problem. Everytime it rained or whenever I tried to get a carwash the cab would leak right above the sliding glass window. I found out that the 3rd brake light housing can actually let water in and the water will come into the cab from there. Pop the 3rd brake light housing out and look inside, you will see were water can easily get in. What I did was just run a bead of silicone around the housing and just for the heck of it I ran a bead across the top sill of the cab and down the sides a little ways. I used clear stuff so you can't even see it, but remember a little goes a real long way. Never had a leak since though.
