Im fine once they get the needle in me its just when they go to stick that I have the problem. At least she gave me the choice as to when I get it done. My last booster was far to long ago.

If you think giving blood is bad, try giving platelets, they take it out and put it back, it separates the white blood cells from the red ones. You can give platelets every two weeks instead of the 8 weeks for blood. I have my 2 gallon pin, I'm halfway to my 3 gallon.

I gave blood once, when in the Air Force..........never again, the AF nurse was less than gentle, I think she could have took me in hand to hand...........one of the few bad memories of those days.
