Rear end noise
Take a 3/8' drive extension, insert it into the square hole and unscrew the plug. Some fluid should spill out, if it doesn't you need to add some. (I misremember the type, 75w140 synthetic I think..if someone could help me out here....)
As for vibration if it's been there since the job was done they may have forgot to realign the driveshaft properly when they changed the pinion seal. Crawl underneath to see if they marked the driveshaft to the pinion and got the lines all on the same plain.
