GOOD EVENING EVERYONE. I'm back. Had a good trip. The Blazer started giving me some trouble coming home. The tranny wouldn't go into overdrive, then sometimes it would. Sometimes it would bang one/two shifts. Finally it threw a code light which I believe is a torque converter lock up code. Got home cleared the codes. Took it for a short drive & is working correctly. This isn't the first time but it has never acted up for 300 miles with 3 stops. It as a rule will acted up & when I stop & shut it off for gas or whatever & restart it clears up. It would for awhile then start again. So I hope it will get us back to Nevada in two weeks & I should have the Honda back. I will start running it back & forth.

AZ. Just got done re carpeting the father inlaws fishing boat. Was alot more work than originally was told it was going to be.
MrMajestyk, that Marti report sounds pretty cool. How did you go about getting that?
I had a questions. Im looking at this 72 CS, but it doesn't have the western style mirrors, it has some smaller ones that fold, that i see on every Ford on the road. The question is, If I were to purchase some of the western style mirrors to change them out, wouldn't I have some big drill holes from the previous mirrors in the door?
How much work is it to cover the holes??
I beginning to think i should just wait maybe till I find one with the mirrors i want, and avoid the hassle. Thanks for the advice.
Thanks MrMajestyk, I will def. keep that in my back pocket for the i finally get.
Was there a price involved? Thanks again.
Matt
Yes there is a price involved, depending on the type of information
and material your seeking I did call them with a few questions
before I placed my order and they are VERY friendly and helpful !
Another thing I did was to contact Ford and here is their reply;
Dear Mr.Majestyk,
I have requested a build sheet for your vehicle from our Research Department. This document will outline the options and equipment with which your vehicle was originally ordered. You should expect to receive a response from our Research Department within two business days regarding the time frame and how we can mail this information to you.
This was a No Cost from Ford however it takes four to six weeks, but for
me well worth the wait
