Rust

I just got my 51' ford f100 and it is my first project, it has a Flathead V8 and solid body, great shape and little rust on body...but the interior is pretty much trashed, i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to start with.

thanks

read this
https://www.ford-trucks.com/article/i...ord_Truck.html,
My truck was the very same way when I got it.The old seat was upholstered but it was stained and it still had that horse hair stuffing so I took the seat out cleaned it got as much seat stuffing out of the seat,I pressure washed the seat and let it dry, next I took a compressor and blew all the dirt out of the cab and checked for rust, all I had was surface so I took a wire wheel and my trusty grinder and wire wheeled the floor.
Cleaned the dash, roof, walls, took the gas tank out, cleaned it and painted it.
I primer the inside of the cab put all back in and now I drive the crap out of it.
If you have holes in the cab, there is places where you can get patch panels.
good luck,keep us posted,and welcome.
and post lotsa pictures
