trans kickdown adjustment
I recently insalled an edelbrock 600 cfm 1406 carb on my 79 f150 with a 351m and c6 transmission. And also the kit to attach the kickdown to the carb. But I can't get the thing adjusted right. I did the procedure in the manual but it does not work correctly. Here's wht happens when I'm driving at little to no throttle it shifts through the gears then when I punch it the trans downshifts but the engine winds up really far then shifts back up. I've repeatedly adjusted the screw on the kickdown but it continually doesn't shift correctly. If anyone has any sort of tips id really appreciate it thanks :-)
