Due to a cracked head, I am installing a set of GT-40 turbo swirl aluminum heads and a set of flowtech shortys on my 94 f-150 this weekend, my question in where is the timing spout on the 94 302?
my truck is missing some of the stickers under the hood, and I am trying to avoid buying a book if possible.
Piggybacking on this question, what does it look like? My '94 has a two-wire round connector with round male pins in it, is this it? The manual I have is a little vague about it.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Dec-02 AT 07:38 PM (EST)]If it has wires on each connector half, it should only have 1 terminal in each connector, but I think that style of SPOUT was only used in the mid-80s. The later style has both wires on one half of the connector and a small square shorting plug connecting the 2 terminals. It's pretty obvious because it's one of the few things you'll find with 2 PINK wires. It should be VERY close (like within a couple of inches) to the ignition module.
Thanks everyone for their help, I'll log back in to you all know how the new power feels when I'm done, or sooner if I run into any snags along the way. Thanks again for the help. :-X12
