So this past weekend the truck took a little longer to start the normal about 4-5 seconds and again on Monday so I took her into dealer for a check up............
Update, dealer called and I said WOW your done and they laughed and said not so fast, FICM is acting up so they replaced it, now it starts great BUT, while they had it I asked them to check the cooling system and yes the truck is getting a oil/egr cooler and all I could think is thank god it's still under factory warranty.
Yes, the ScanGauge is a great deal from an overall cost- basic functionality perspective. Won't expand for EGT or fule pressure, but at $150-250 less than other electric gauges, you can get an A-pillar pod and put in some standard gauges to go with the SC.
What a suprize, I got my truck back from the dealer and a long list of new/rem parts.
I thought my truck was running great until the long crank started this past weekend, I had no real loss of power truck ran extremely smooth.
The truck is a 2007 build date 8/14/06, I bought the truck on 11/08/06 and has 54,135miles on it now.
THE LIST
egr valve, egr cooler, oil cooler, updated stc kit, fuel supply stand pipe, dummy plugs and seals, icp?, degas bottle and cap all new filters and fluids ect, also remfg TURBO?, due to siezed unison ring. Like I said the truck ran great until the long crank, I keep a close eye on the coolant using the nitrate strips, change oil every 5000miles and fuel filters every 10,000 miles. The only thing I could think of is I let it set most of the week, I put less then 7000 miles on it last year and about 5000 miles since I had two injectors replaced last year. The good news is this was my trucks second trip to the dealer for warranty work since new.
$0.00 I asked once and ran.......All this didn't cost anything. Also the EOT 206 , ECT 201.
The long crank ended up being detiorating standpipe seals and dummie plug seals per the paper work.
