Guess what I was looking at not 30min. ago? 3 tornadoes forming.... So I scrambled to get everything (truck, car, tools, dogs) in the garage or under the carport to at least try and avoid the golf ball to baseball size hail reported to be on the way. They must have reported more than a dozen funnels developing in my county. Some trees 2-3ft thick being blown down. Pretty hairy out here!
All clear now thank God. Nothing hurt or damaged at my place. Others not as lucky. We've been having a bad drought so at least it's good to get all that rain. No new dents in the ol dent.
Gotta love Tx weather...you were checking your pants 1 minute...94 minutes later it was back to "normal" hahah glad to hear you and the truck are safe.
P.S. Ill be heading south on 35 on friday, ill be keeping my eyes open for your highboy
Yeah it was just one wave that was traveling 45mph. It was 96 and sunny earlier today...lol
I've got the gas tank dropped right now and am doing a bit of rewiring so it probably won't be up and running but I might have it going by the time you're on your way back through. Hit me up.

I will let ya know (via PM early fri morning) when abouts i should be passing through. I will probably be stopping to eat breakfast there too. I wont be in my dentside, but my other ride isnt so bad. Id love to check out that 445!...well any dentside to be truthful...
I guess there is always the chance that someone else's Dent would end up in your yard during a tornado. Just looking for the silver lining here...
I know....poor taste.
Hahaha That's a good point. There is a 71 two tone green bump behind my neighbors from across the field that I sure wouldn't mind ending up in my driveway. I was worried for that one for sure, it's uncovered in the open. I know if it had gotten a lot of hail damage it would have gone to the crusher.

I used to spend summers down in your area. My dad lived in Killeen. I just remember endless, soul-sucking heat.
You got that right. Effin Hot! The town I'm from, about 15 miles east of Waco seems to be a geographical oddity or something. It's always hotter and rains less there. You can see it on the radar when rains come through. It just kinda parts and goes around. lol I remember looking at the thermometer nailed to this tree at 2 a day football practice in HS...it said 117°....in the shade. The Waco weather services commonly doubt the readings from the school out here. If they only knew.
Now imagine driving a black truck, with a black interior(leather seat), with a big motor putting out big heat, and NO AC. Talk about swamp ***...lol
I hear you. My feet get hot from the exhaust under the floorboards even on the coldest days. No A/C in August in stop and go is brutal. Makes you tougher though.... as long as you dont die.
